Tour of Good Hope 2025
The tour has been postponed to 2025; the new date for Stuttgart is March 22, 2025. Tickets that have already been purchased remain valid.
OEHL:
"First of all, I would like to thank you for the great response to the ticket sales. Although it was not easy for me to postpone the tour, I made this decision together with my team "for art". What does that mean exactly? The theater project "Tom auf dem Lande", for which I am currently on stage in Linz, has given me a new wave of inspiration and a long-term vision for Oehl's music. In order to bring this vision between electronic-clubby tracks and acoustic-tender songs to the stage, I would like to give myself time for music production and timely releases beyond the summer, before the tour is due. I ask for your understanding for this decision and look forward to seeing you again in spring 2025. Bussi from Vienna, Ariel"
OEHL also know quiet moments: Their acoustic set definitely stirs up moist eyes and the odd tear or two. Herbert Grönemeyer sings "Männer weinen Heimlich" in the song Männer in 1984. Not so Ariel Oehl, who shows his feelings on three records, in his monthly newsletter, on Instagram and on stage. His songs get deep under your skin and are anything but sentimental. They deal with the big issues of society and are served on driving beats, with lively bass lines and a gentleness that is unparalleled in German-language indie pop. OEHL 's music is heavy and light at the same time, a sum of opposites that come together in the music and, as they say in Austria, "work out" quite naturally.
Catch-up date. Tickets for November 2, 2024 remain valid.
