We're thrilled to announce that the incredible rapper Oddisee is coming for a live rap concert that you won't want to miss!
Long celebrated as a deep-thinking emcee that delivers a masterclass in lyricism over his own production often influenced with the Go-Go music of his DMV roots, Oddisee's work has been celebrated all across the globe.
He tackles the human condition with unwavering conviction and candor, merging elements of jazz, funk, and go-go into his hip-hop rooted production which makes his music in a special way unique.
His most recent project And Yet Still (2024), released on Outer Note Label, is a modern hip hop record inspired by myriad of genres and musical styles. And Yet Still is a thrilling snapshot into the mind of one of rap's great creators, an artist who never wastes an opportunity to let us into his endlessly fascinating brain. The title track is the summary of this album, made to sound like a stream of thought: somewhat random, but all brought together by the idea of perseverance.
As Teaser, Bruder Bender will get us in the mood and sweating. The rapper manages to elegantly master the balancing act between authentic 90s aesthetics and the 2024-status-quo and shows us that rap from the 'Most Beautiful City in Germany' is definitely back on track!
