William Thacker is a bookseller and his life is going along quietly until the world-famous film actress Anna Scott suddenly appears in his bookshop. Naturally he is nervous and can hardly get a word in edgewise. What luck that he then spills orange juice on her in the street. As we all know, this is the best way to get to know people, and as William Thacker stumbles into increasingly stupid situations with the unapproachable woman, she gets to know and love him. However, love at - almost - first sight only works at the third attempt. A chaotic romance starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. (P.M.)
