"NOSFERATU - A Symphony of Horror" is a groundbreaking silent film from 1922, directed by F. W. Murnau and from the archive of the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Foundation. The film is based on Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula" and offers a unique interpretation of the vampire story. It is known for its dark atmosphere, expressionist imagery and Max Schreck's unforgettable portrayal of the vampire.

The young estate agent Hutter travels to Transylvania to finalize the purchase of a house in Wisborg with the mysterious Count Orlok and discovers that Orlok is a vampire. The count travels to Wisborg and brings a wave of plague to the town. Hatter's wife sees only one way out to save the town.
