About the artist collective "New Ground Performance"

The performance, carried by sound (industrial & post-punk), follows the exploration of evolution and the human condition and its necessity. The artists initiate a process of collective coordination. Performance and attitude lead to an interactive artistic collaboration that is reflected in the form of sound, word and image as an installation in public space. The collective channels interpersonal energies to create community. Thematic aspects of the performance are the overexploitation of nature, discrimination, violence, abuse and patriarchy.

It is electronic music that wanders between dense, powerful beats and spherical ambient. Digital synthesis meets field recordings from northern Finland and soft vocals.

For the third time at the Ballonfabrik in Augsburg, the collective will also be performing an installation in the stage space. "Wenn der Raum spricht" can be played by the audience before the live performance from 18:00 to 20:00. Sound, word or image contributions will be documented and can be incorporated into the installation. The live performances by Crowded and New Ground Performance will then begin.
