Everything about singer-songwriter Nathan Ball seems unforced. With his natural, light and reassuring presence, his music scales universal emotional heights.

His latest single "Stateline" is a case in point. Written while touring Australia, Nathan sought to capture the spirit of life on the road and found inspiration in the long dusty roads, life on the move, new people, new faces and new spaces. He reveals, "It's an adaptation of the story of Icarus, who ignores advice and flies too close to the sun, leading to his demise. It's a love song about growing up, about dreaming your life away and enjoying the innocent beauty of young love, only to be brought back down to earth and its reality. "Stateline"glows with warmth, while strident guitars and driving percussion create an all-encompassing atmosphere, overlaid with emotionally charged lyrics that tug at the nerves.

Nathan's work combines two great passions to push the sonic boundaries: classical songwriting and experimentation. His penchant for the electronic world led him to collaborate with the British electronica band Faithless, as whose singer he now tours and headlines festivals such as Wilderness and Glastonbury.

Nathan's songs have amassed an impressive 60 million streams to date. He has already had the pleasure of supporting artists such as Bon Iver, Ziggy Alberts and SYML.

"Stateline" is the first single from his upcoming EP Lost Track of Time. With his new label partner V2 Records, he is pleased to announce selected headline tour dates in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK in October 2024, including two shows in Germany.
