The mystical power of the Armenian Christmas unfolds its special magic with the Naghash Ensemble. With his Christmas Oratorio, the renowned composer and ensemble director John Hodian creates captivating new music for the festive season from the Middle Ages and modern times, building a bridge from the past to the present. With lyrical texts and his music, he creates an engaging reflection on humanity, hope and spirituality. In 2023, the three singers and four musicians of the Naghash Ensemble already captivated audiences at KLANGVOKAL with their poignant and beautiful melodies. For the German premiere of the new Armenian Christmas Oratorio, the singers and musicians are now returning to Dortmund to transport the audience into a world full of emotion and spirituality.
