A game of confusion

Three elegantly dressed figures sit in elegant armchairs in a dilapidated hotel lobby. Whispering in the semi-darkness. Who are these people? And is the ocean rushing outside the window?

The privately and professionally frustrated author Moskovitz receives a call from Montevideo in Uruguay. He is to write a play for the Teatro Nacional about the sinking of the Admiral Graf Spee in the Río de la Plata. When he arrives for the premiere, everything initially goes according to plan. But then Moskovitz is unable to find a theater at the address given. The atmosphere between him and the theater director deteriorates increasingly. Instead, he meets his assistant in the hotel pool after a pair of tight-fitting golden swimming trunks has been sent to his room ...

A web of strange events is spun around Moskovitz and he becomes entangled in it. In this psychological thriller full of unexpected twists and turns and devious plot lines, the audience increasingly loses the thread. Who is actually directing this game of confusion?
