Freshly painted and completely renovated, our winding tower shines in new Germania green splendor. The Doppelbock has been well wrapped up for almost a whole year and is now celebrating its comeback as a Bochum landmark. We are celebrating with an open day, an extensive program and exciting guided tours!

We invite you to get to know the German Mining Museum once again in short guided tours as a Place of Interest, Educator Room, Event Location and Scientist Space.
These are particularly suitable for teachers in children's and young adult education, people who are looking for a place in Bochum where they can hold their event in a special ambience and those who want to get to know the Mining Museum as part of tourist services.
