Musethica startet Kooperation mit ukrainischer Musikhochschule in Odessa:Öffentliche Konzerte am 13.05. und 17.05. - Eintritt frei

In the organizer's words:

The first Musethica session in cooperation with the Odesa National Academy of Music in Ukraine starts on May 11, 2025. Three Ukrainian musicians will join forces with Berlin music students and perform a week of concerts together in Berlin. They are all taking part in the Musethica training program. The aim is to offer young musicians the opportunity to play a large number of concerts within a few days - and thus reach people who do not have the opportunity to attend a concert due to their respective life situations.

From 11 to 17 May, four young students from Odessa and Berlin will play in various social institutions: from the women's prison in Neukölln to the DRK clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry and the Bethanien primary school project for pupils whose school development is at risk.

The young musicians:
Yelyzaveta Koval, violin
Sofiia Malynovska, violoncello
Adam Koch Christensen, violin
Syon Najman, violoncello

The young musicians will be accompanied by two tutors: violist Olena Bazan, lecturer in chamber ensemble at the Odessa Academy of Music, and Avri Levitan, founder of Musethica and also a violist. The tutors not only give intensive coaching sessions, but also rehearse works with the young musicians, which they perform together on stage.

In addition to nine concerts in social institutions, the program includes two public concerts. The concerts are free of charge and open to all interested parties.
