Thrash metal in a double pack: Municipal Waste and Death Angel play joint concerts in summer 2025

Thrash metal fans in southern Germany can expect an absolute highlight this summer: Municipal Waste and Death Angel are going on tour together and will be stopping off in Stuttgart and Friedrichshafen.

Since their formation in 2001, Municipal Waste have developed from an underground insider tip to a permanent fixture in the thrash metal scene with sold-out shows worldwide. From their choice of name, reminiscent of a municipal waste disposal authority, to their uncompromising sound, Municipal Waste pay tribute to 1980s thrash metal and crossover with total dedication, keeping the energy and spirit of the era alive.

Co-headlining the show are Death Angel - a Bay Area thrash legend who have been causing musical mayhem with breakneck speed, razor-sharp riffs and powerful vocals since the early 1980s. In their decades-long career, they have shared stages with metal greats such as Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Exodus, Sepultura, Testament and DevilDriver and are still one of the most impressive live bands in the thrash scene.
