Munich Rocks!

Once again, Munich Rocks! presents Munich bands at the Ampere who have attracted attention for their skills and individuality.

Mirabelle Rose is a singer, songwriter and filmmaker. With her catchy lyrics and soulful vocals, she takes the audience on an imaginative journey into her musical universe. In addition to music, she is currently studying feature film directing at the Film Academy in Munich and exploring the many forms of storytelling. Her musical role models include the British band Bat For Lashes and the Norwegian singer Aurora. With her live band, she was a finalist in the Springboard Band Competition in 2024 and won the jury prize.

Popcorn Molecule was founded in Eichstätt in 2020 and initially booked as a nameless wedding band, but it quickly became clear that the four guys could become something more. They proved this in 2022 with the release of their debut track "Don't Let Yourself Down", which received around 4,000 streams on Spotify within the first four weeks. When the formation finally grew to its current strength in 2023 with its new drummer, the next releases followed until the band was able to celebrate its debut EP "RECIPE" in April 2024. When the guys aren't busy saving the world with a movie snack, they turn the amps up to 11 for genetically modified indie/pop rock in their secret laboratory.

Julz He ller "Good mood despite bad weather" - this or something similar could be Julz Heller's motto. The Munich musician delivers energetic pop-punk with a good pinch of 2000s vibe, combining honest emotions and rousing melodies. His music makes difficult topics such as mental health accessible and speaks directly to the hearts of his listeners. His message: yes, it can get damn dark. But no, you're not alone. And hey, if need be, let's shout it into the night together until it gets better... With his band, he brings a cool live show to the stage that is just as intense and powerful as his songs.
