Théotime Gillot - Piano concerto
1st prize winner of the European Piano Competition Bremen 2024

Théotime Gillot is considered one of the most promising pianists of his generation. He impresses with "his visionary playing" (Helsigin Sanomat) and the "great sensitivity" of his interpretations (Crescendo Magazine). He is currently continuing his studies with Claudio Martinez Mehner at the Basel University of Music. He has won numerous international competitions and was awarded 1st prize and the audience prize at the prestigious European Piano Competition in Bremen at the age of 21. Also in 2021, he was awarded the special prize of the Chopin Institute and invited to tour Poland. On this occasion, he received advice from Martha Argerich, who encouraged him and recognized him as "a very special talent".

His career has taken him to Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Finland and Estonia, where he has performed as a soloist with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Estonian National Orchestra.
