Asya Fateyeva Trio
Asya Fateyeva, saxophone; Evelina Petrova, accordion; Roberto Dani, percussion

The trio of Asya Fateyeva, Evelina Petrova and Roberto Dani offers a wide field for experimentation, expanding the imagination and focusing on the creation of sonic images inspired by traditional music and stories. She blends folk music, classical music and avant-garde improvised music in her playing.

Petrova skillfully exploits the possibilities of her own voice as well as those of the accordion, while breaking the boundaries of traditional expression of both instruments. Fateyeva also explores different areas in her music. In addition to classical concerts, she tries out everything that interests her, especially in an intimate playing format. The musicians seek the space where their own fantasy, imagination and experience create a rich musical performance. Based on original compositions and closely linked to the dramatic and musical meaning of folk music.
