Mr Lonely is back in Mannheim and not all alone. After great performances last year at Cafe Frida and Kombüse, this time the Polish quintet invites you to a fantastic evening together with R.W. Smith, who is very well known to the Mannheim audience!

Mr Lonely emerged from a complete chaos of bluesy guitar sounds and jazzy brass melodies in the midst of rock energy. With bittersweet lyrics and tongue-in-cheek melancholy, they lead the listener through a labyrinth of sassy rhythms and harmonies. Danced, dreamy, different.

The RW Smith is a singer-songwriter with deep roots in both Brooklyn, NY, and Katy, TX. Growing up in Texas, Roger always had an affinity for music, but it wasn't until he moved to New York City in the early '90s that he truly found his voice. His music is influenced by Folk and Americana, with a raw and heartfelt sound.

After relocating to Germany, Roger released his debut EP in 2019. Now, in 2024, he's back with a set of singles that embody a "sitting in a rocking chair on your front porch as you watch the sun go down" vibe-simple, reflective, and honest.
