This event takes place as a pre-session as part of About Pop 2025.

The Kulturhaus Schwanen in Waiblingen invites you to an extraordinary concert evening on Thursday, April 3, 2025, as part of the About Pop Pre-Session. On this evening, Norwegian artist MOYKA will delight her fans with a captivating mix of dream and electropop and present her new album "Movies, Cars and Heartbreak" live.
The evening will be opened by an improvised set by DENISE AND DEMIAN.

MOYKA, known for her unique combination of emotional depth and catchy beats, returns to the stage with renewed energy after a turbulent time marked by the pandemic, label changes and management challenges. Her latest work tells of a return to her own strength, heartache and a tireless love of music. Songs such as "Rear View" and "Already Gone" are an expression of their musical range and promise an evening full of intense sound experiences.

The evening will kick off with the Stuttgart duo DENISE AND DEMIAN. In their 30-minute improvised set, the singer and pianist fuse various musical influences from soul, jazz, R&B and electronic music. They let themselves be guided by the atmosphere of the evening and the energy of the audience - an exciting interplay of spontaneity and musical virtuosity.

The evening's motto "Norwegian pop witch MOYKA meets 0711 Improvisation" promises a fascinating encounter between international art pop and the creative art of improvisation from the region.
