Dear jazz fans,
at our next concert on
February 11 at 8 pm in Mathilde Bar, Ottensen
we will be focusing on young musicians from the North German jazz scene.
The young pianist Moritz Schöwing has been on the Bremen jazz scene for several years now.
He started piano lessons with his father Jens Schöwing at an early age, won several competitions and has already played with musicians such as Ed Kröger, Malte Schuller, the Jazzkombinat Hamburg and the Nordwest Bigband.
He is currently studying jazz piano in the master's program at the HfMT Hamburg.
On Tuesday evening he will be playing his own music with his new quartet: Erik Konertz (trombone), Melanie Streitmatter (bass) and Alex Petratos (drums). The compositions are inspired by modern jazz, kitschy pop music and everything else that happens in life.
An evening full of verve, delicate melodies, fast-paced twists and turns, lots of interaction and, above all, lots of fun!
We look forward to seeing you!
