After two successful tours in 2023 and 2024 and a successful summer of festivals, one thing is clear: Moop Mama × Älice have long been more than just an exciting idea - they are a perfect match . With the release of their joint album "Wieder Laut", they have opened an impressive new chapter in the band's history. Moop Mama is back! The story of brass in pop and hip-hop is far from over.

Frontwoman Älice, as a POC with Caribbean and Polish roots, and the veterans of urban brass, who can now be counted as old hands in the scene, are two pieces of the puzzle that fit together perfectly. The songs on their first album together also exude this vibe. "Wieder Laut" encourages people to move closer together, to reconnect and to show solidarity - from person to person.

The music of Moop Mama × Älice is more than just entertainment - it is a call for community and change. With their unmistakable energy and haunting sound, they once again make a strong statement and prove that they have a role to play in this scene. Älice's voice, with its immediate presence, forms the centerpiece. With warmth and an unmistakable human touch, she moves effortlessly between singing and rapping. She expresses even the most profound themes with playful ease, without losing any substance.

Stylistically, the Moop Mama × Älice collaboration reveals completely new influences: Afrobeat and phonk-inspired beats blend seamlessly with punky, earthy sounds and a generous helping of soul. With their infectious sound and inspiring lyrics, they inspire a wide audience and always manage to discover new corners where you think you've heard it all before.

The band is also breaking new ground organizationally in 2025: After years of working with Eskapaden Booking, Moop Mama × Älice have decided to switch to Buback, the renowned Hamburg agency that looks after artists* such as Jan Delay, Alice Merton, Liedfett and Denyo. With this step, they are relying on a strong partner network that optimally supports their vision of live music and creative development.

Being loud is the necessary reaction to an increasingly outrageous world. Being loud also means being political. For a world that is not characterized by hate and fear, but by opportunities and community.
