In the organizer's words:

Singer Nicolo Rovera and drummer Maxime Praeker met on the Ton Steine Scherben tour in 2014. Even after the first notes they played together, the two noticed a deep musical bond. Now they are on stage together for the first time as MONTEGAL and with their own songs. MONTEGAL combines powerful, driving beats and a fusion of rock, pop, funk and blues with authentic German-language lyrics: they tell of the pulsating life in the city, of anger and hope, of love and of longings that we all carry within us. In doing so, they create an unmistakable sound. Pop rock at its finest!

The duo is joined by keyboardist Lukas McNally (Ton Steine Scherben 2014 - 2016), guitarist & producer Helge Hasselberg (Trümmer) and bassist Maurice Baron.
