"Agua y vinho" is the motto of Duo Almeida, a musical journey through Spain, Italy and Latin America.

Compositions from Spain by Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla, from Italy by Mauro Gangi, from Brazil by Celso Machado, Egberto Gismonti, Joao Pernambuco, from Venezuela by Alfonso Montes, from Argentina by Jorge Morel, and from Ecuador by Enrique Espín Yepez will be performed. The varied program will also include original compositions by the artist Julio Almeida.

Julio Almeida was born in Ecuador. He studied classical guitar in Münster, graduating with a concert diploma in Enschede and Ghent. Since then, he has performed on major stages around the world - also with his own compositions and arrangements.

His duo partner is his 18-year-old son Nicolás Linden de Almeida. He began learning to play the guitar with his father at the age of four, has already won many prizes at a young age and can already look back on concert appearances as far afield as Valencia, Barcelona, Budapest and Minsk.
