In this workshop, we will focus primarily on the sensory side of creative writing. We will specifically address the different senses in order to activate our memories and thus create texts. We will try to find a language for our perceptions and get to know literary examples in which sensory impressions play a special role. We use perception exercises to bring characters, dialog and plot to life. Of course, this writing workshop will also cover the most important techniques and models for constructing and structuring narratives. The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced writers alike.

AMELIE FRIED, award-winning presenter and author ("The Longest Summer of Her Life" and others) and her husband, author and screenwriter PETER PROBST ("I Didn't Kidnap Schleyer" and others) are now a permanent fixture in the workshop program. Their new workshop is about sensory perceptions as a stimulant and literary tool.
