MiQua goes Internationaler Frauentag: Helene Shani Braun und Keshet im Gespräch mit Timo Riese M.A. und Julia Rongen M.A.

In the organizer's words:

To mark International Women's Day on March 8, Julia Rongen and Timo Riese from the MiQua team invite you to a special evening event at the MiQua:forum on March 6.

The evening will be opened by Keshet, the only national organization for Jewish LGBTQIA+ people in Germany. Founded in 2018, the association campaigns for the rights and recognition of queer Jewish people. The second part of the evening will feature a conversation with Helene Braun, the youngest prospective rabbi in Germany. She was one of the founders of Keshet in 2018. The open discussion will focus on the topics of queerness and feminism in Judaism. Questions from the audience are expressly encouraged.

Helene Braun studies Rabbinate at the Abraham Geiger College and Jewish Theology at the University of Potsdam.
