Mina Richman, the queer German-Iranian, combines music with her personal journey and activism. In her music, she talks about the search for identity and freedom, inspired by icons such as Joan As Policewoman and Nina Simone. With her debut EP "Jaywalker" (2022), for which she was nominated for the PopNRW Award as best newcomer, and her powerful song "Baba Said", which went viral during the Iranian revolution, she makes an important contribution to the fight for human rights.

Her first album, which was released on March 15, 2024 via the Ladies&Ladys label, deals with the topics of growing up, cultural uprooting and the relationship to her body. Supported by her band and renowned producer Tobias Siebert (Juli, Enno Bunger), she has created a versatile sound that combines elements of soul, blues, folk and hip-hop.

Mina Richman is an artist who uses her platform to address social grievances and actively fight for equality and freedom. She will embark on a Germany-wide headlining tour with her band in spring 2024 and is already a celebrated star at renowned festivals such as the Orange Blossom Special, Traumzeit, Fusion, Waves Vienna and the Reeperbahn Festival.
