Migrantisch-feministische Kämpfe Lebenswege-Konflikte-Solidarisierungen

In the organizer's words:

As part of the exhibition "Deutschland um 1980. Fotografien aus einem fernen Land", Annita Kalpaka and Efthimia Panagiotidis present the concept of the archive project "Migrantisch-Antirassistische Feminismen". They will show excerpts from video recordings with protagonists from the 1980s and 1990s who report on their diverse practices in migrant self-organizations and alliances.

The subsequent discussion with activists from this period, such as Arfasse Gamada, Hülya Eralp and others, and with the audience provides an insight into the living archive of feminist-antiracist life paths to remember and continue to shape and offers the opportunity to relate to stories of migrant-feminist narratives and struggles.
