In the organizer's words:
Ted Green's work explores the interplay between chance and system. His painting is inspired by musical structures and rhythms, deliberately dispenses with fixed meanings and yet invites discovery and interpretation.
In keeping with this, Thilo Schölpen provides the background music with his experimental sounds - inspired by Kraftwerk. As a composer and music producer, he manages to reflect the repetitive patterns in Ted Green's paintings in a unique way.
