#MeToo unless you're a Jew. Über fehlende Solidarität in feministischen und queeren Strukturen seit dem 7. Oktober

In the organizer's words:

Feminist and queer struggles are waged, among other things, to improve the living conditions and circumstances of FLINTA people in particular and to combat violence against them. At the latest since the anti-Semitic massacres of October 7, 2023 in southern Israel, it has once again become clear that Jewish women_Jews are often excluded from these struggles. Despite the obvious contradiction between feminism and support for Islamist terror. Together with Merle Stöver and Rosa Jellinek, we look back on the past year. We would like to talk to them about their perspectives and experiences in feminist and queer movements, but also about the behaviour at international level and of larger organizations such as UN Women. Is the (non-)behaviour on 7 October a caesura or more an expression of continuities in these movements and organizations? What role can initiatives such as the "Feminism Unlimited" alliance play in addressing this issue? Are new initiatives or alliances forming? What can a future perspective look like? These and other questions will be addressed in the panel discussion. Moderation: Alexandra Nozik

Merle Stöver is an anti-Semitism researcher and is doing her doctorate at Bielefeld University. She works on antiziganism, antisemitism, social chauvinism and gender relations. She recently published on this topic in the book Judenhass Underground and Jungle World. Rosa Jellinek is a content creator and queer Jewish activist. She creates videos for the project "OY VEY! Platform against Conspiracy Myths" and is active in the queer Jewish association Keshet Germany. She also works as a political image maker on the topics of intersectionality, queerness & queerphobia, Judaism & anti-Semitism and internet activism & hate speech. Alexandra Nozik is currently campaigning in Bremen for the liberation of Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity. She deals politically with social reactions to right-wing and Islamist terror, triggered by a personal proximity to the attack in Halle in 2019 and the Hamas attack on Israel in 2023.
