As part of the social awareness campaign Mensch. Deutschland social awareness campaign by Lichterkette e.V., people affected by racism, anti-Semitism, sexism, queerophobia and ableism were interviewed in front of the camera. This resulted in 100 short video clips with personal experiences and stories of those affected. Sometimes harrowing, sometimes hopeful and always relevant are the insights that the testimonials give us into their everyday lives. We would like to present a selection of these videos on a movie night. Afterwards, viewers will have the opportunity to find out more about the creation, implementation and reception of the project and to talk to the makers and testimonials of Mensch. Germany.
