The film, produced by Emma Thompson, tells the story of Mediha, a young Yazidi girl recently returned from IS captivity. She turns her camera on herself to deal with her trauma as rescue workers search for her missing family members. This is the story of the Yazidi genocide and its aftermath, shown through the lens of a young survivor who confronts her past in personal video diaries, finds her voice and bravely steps into the future.
