MEDEA: 21 GRAMS OF GOLD
Sometime between 2,500 and 500 BC, in the ancient lands of Greece, the legend of Medea unfolds. Medea - the woman who killed her own children in order to inflict the deepest pain on her husband Iason. A pain born of betrayal when he fled into the arms of a younger lover.
But can this story simply be dismissed? Was Medea really just a mad woman who lost her mind and acted in blind rage? Or is there a deeper truth behind the façade of this tragedy that needs to be discovered? What turned her once ardent love for Iason into merciless hatred? What role do the gods play in this drama? And who are these legendary Argonauts?
Intrigue and tragedy, toxic masculinity and unquenchable revenge - all of this unfolds against a backdrop of brutal murders and dastardly manslaughter. And all because of a golden ram's skin? A world full of conflict, passion and unpredictable twists and turns, in which the boundaries between love and hate, between victim and perpetrator become blurred.
