Maybebop - Kinderkram

The four singers and family men go all out and play their first children's concert tour in over 20 years.

The enthusiastic a cappella foursome have been setting standards in German entertainment for over 20 years with their numerous stage programs. Now they are making a long-cherished dream come true with their first live children's program. True to the motto "We sing what we know about", the four family men rummage unerringly in their song box and pull out songs that not only make the kids dream, laugh and dance.

MAYBEBOP sends young and old eyes and ears on a journey into ever new musical worlds. The band, which was recently named "Group of the Decade" (American critics' platform "The Recorded A Cappella Review Board"), remains true to itself by not taking itself seriously.

And when they do, it is all the more touching. Despite all the fun and lightness, it is the soothing depth that sets this children's production apart from others and makes it an experience for the whole family. For example, "Good for the Hyena" not only scores with the funny story of a young hyena that washes itself every day (despite the suspicion of its fellow hyenas), but also with clever wit and a strong message. "Roboter" pays homage to the "Neue Deutsche Welle" and is a plea for children to be given more freedom. In "Ich wünsch mir ganz schön viel", the Maybebop boys interact with children and give an impression of their spontaneity and live qualities. And the wonderful ballad "Believe in yourself" touches young and old alike, because we all wished as children that someone would sing this song to us.

As always with MAYBEBOP, this show is rounded off with rich sounds, the finest lighting and great video components.

The show lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for children aged 5 to 14 and anyone else who is young at heart.
