Matija - ecstasy, melancholy and the full spectrum in between. With More Than Happiness, the Munich-based band will release a single on July 14 that sets out on a bittersweet search for moments of happiness and announce a tour of the same name in the fall.

The alternative pop trio writes about personal topics without focusing solely on themselves. Sometimes thick, sometimes fragile and exposed; always on the lookout for new ideas, stories and influences, they also welcome the big feelings.
welcome. Matt Kovac, Jan Salgovic and Sami Salman experiment with sounds and are constantly evolving: with their shared experiences and moments of euphoria and gloom, they dare to make the big gestures on More Than Happiness.
big gestures. After two albums and their first successes, especially with their singles White Socks and absolutelynothing(today), they have matured, both as people and as a band. In the meantime, they have performed on the big festival stages, sold out clubs and have two tours under their belts, as well as appearances abroad, on the radio, on TV and in film and series productions.

From the very beginning, the three multi-instrumentalists have placed a strong focus on live music: concerts allow them to travel the world, gain insights into other countries and cultures and create a sense of togetherness between all the people on stage and in front of it.
Extraordinary moments full of dedication, dynamics and virtuosity, absolute connection between band and audience and the resulting music. From mosh pits to contemplative pianissimo moments, anything is possible with Matija: they take risks on stage, surrender to the moment and create their own world every time, which captivates and inspires the audience.

With the More Than Happiness tour, Matija will travel through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in September & October 2022.
