The Maryjazz Trio, led by Marina Sherstnova (Marijazzwoman), is an exciting musical project with new impulses from jazz, R&B, soul and funk. Together with Lukas Handlbauer on drums and Aron Weise on bass, the Maryjazz Trio plays original compositions and breaks new ground acoustically. The use of diverse instruments and effects, from synthesizer and Rhodes sounds to vocoder, is quite unique in the contemporary music scene.

Each composition has its own story that is thought-provoking and moving, captivating the listener to the end. Sherstnova's artistic vision is shaped by her Ukrainian identity. The two German musicians Handlbauer and Weise bring their own musical talent to the project. The collaboration between the three top-class musicians results in captivating and emotionally powerful instrumental music that goes beyond jazz.
