Marvin Spencer has a lot to say: about religion, politics and society, but above all about his private abysses. Because comedy has to hurt everyone. In doing so, he leaves a trail of devastation on the stages of this country. When he steps behind the microphone, the subtle spirit verbally unpacks his fists and sends cheap punchlines and predictable jokes out the window with the first punch.

In his program, he relies on character rather than caricatures. He doesn't provoke in order to provoke - he surprises in order to make us laugh. Marvin Spencer does not present clichés for us to nod off. He takes us off guard with honesty and shows us the world from the perspective of the eternal outsider: intense, intelligent and always good for a surprising twist.

In 2024, Marvin was awarded the prestigious Hamburg Comedy Pokal - another highlight in his career, having already won the Munich Kabarett Kaktus in 2015.
