At her concerts, Marta Król embarks on a journey through various musical styles: jazz, soul, pop or bossa nova. Her singing is full of feeling, and her warm and deep voice creates a touching romantic atmosphere for the audience. Marta gives meaning to every song and you can feel every emotion in her voice.
She sings her own songs as well as classic melodies from the past written by famous composers such as Burt Bacharach, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Henry Mancini and others.
Marta Król is a Polish jazz, soul and pop singer, songwriter, teacher and vocal coach.
She has released five solo albums: "The First Look" (2011), "Thank God I'm a woman" (2014), "Tribute To The Police" with Paweł Tomaszewski and his band (2017), "All About Me" (2021) and a vinyl album "Sentimental Journey" (2022). She was nominated for major music awards in Poland for her debut album: "Mateusz 2011" in the Debut of the Year category and "Fryderyk 2012" in the Jazz Phonographic Debut of the Year category.
She was selected by Radio Trójka to perform at the debut concert during the 49th Polish Song Festival in Opole (2012). She is a laureate of national and international singing festivals, including: 1st Prize at the National Festival of Young Vocalists, Lublin 2005, Special Prize at the National Festival of Young Vocalists, Lublin 2007, Grand Prix at the National English Language Song Festival, Brzeg 2007, Special Prize at the International Jazz Festival New Hope of Jazz, Łomża 2009.
She has collaborated with the most talented and leading Polish musicians, both singers and instrumentalists. In her singing she focuses on emotional phrasing and interpretation.
