Markus Stockhausen Group feat. Nguyên Lê und Rabih Lahoud

Essentially, Markus Stockhausen's music is a unique, magnificent celebration from the very beginning - sometimes exhilarating, sometimes intimate and always subtle. When the virtuoso trumpeter condenses his adventurous sound projects into hymnal moments of jazz, his flair for musically intuitive soundscapes is revealed once again. For this concert, Markus Stockhausen has invited two outstanding guests, Nguyên Lê and Rabih Lahoud, who he is particularly looking forward to: "Nguyên Lê - master of the electric guitar. I've admired him since the mid-1990s and played with him in Dhafer Youssef's group and in my Possible Worlds Orchestra. Nguyên drives our group into new realms and gives us intense, adventurous sound spaces." And he says of Rabih Lahoud: "What a wonderful, expressive voice! Since we went on the 'Eternal Voyage' together in 2008, we have become good friends. Rabih is now one of the greatest singers in Germany and beyond."
