Documentary film Gert Monheim/Stefan Röttger, D 2003, with director Gert Monheim
Marianne Stern-Winter was the only one of her family to survive deportation from the Düsseldorf slaughterhouse to the Riga ghetto. She returns to her hometown in 1945. Strangers were living in her parents' house and the family's last possessions had been sold at public auction.
