After the tragic death of her little brother Tim, Paula has lost all courage to face life. But when she meets Helmut, who is traveling to South Tyrol with his ex-wife's stolen urn, she decides to travel to Rimini to be close to him on the beach where her brother died. She also wants to take her own life there to end her feelings of guilt. But an unexpected friendship develops with Helmut during the trip. However, when Paula learns of his serious illness, she questions her plans.
