A near future in the rural periphery: Gesa seeks refuge, wants to get away from the omnipresent digital dependency of life in the city. She and her daughter Marie move into an old house surrounded by ivy. She joins a country commune that shares her longing for originality and promises the two of them an emotional home. But something is not right. Gesa's body is fighting back as if it is being poisoned. Where are the symptoms coming from? And what do they have to do with her own mother?
