Maren Montauk, singer-songwriter & performer, is taking on a new evening show format and combining her video release "The Bitchy Basement" with a subsequent lecture, concert, talk and performance.
This time, the evening revolves around the topic of "Mental Load". "Mental load" primarily refers to the stress caused by organizing everyday tasks that are generally not considered worth mentioning and are therefore largely invisible. Mothers are usually affected by this. The show opens with the music film "The Bitchy Basement", which was created in the field of tension between care work and vocation, self-realization and self-abandonment. Maren Montauk, herself a mother of two children, brings together everyday experts, professionals and mothers/fathers in an open discussion with the audience.

Delicate, shrill, absurd and ironic - Maren Montauk constantly changes the timbre and her voice, creates surprising details, ideas and nuances, plays with her attitude and expression, creates a small play or short performance with every song. Maren Montauk changes, her music and materials are constantly changing and yet remain unmistakable. She is accompanied with equal virtuosity by David Schwarz on the piano.
