Then a river cruise on the beautiful blue Danube is just the thing for you! Check in with us on the MS Bratislava, a four-star ship in a class of its own, and get to know not only exciting places, but also your more or less eccentric fellow travelers. First of all, there is Luise and her husband Erwin, whose list of imaginary illnesses is guaranteed to be longer than the Danube itself. However, a prophecy by the well-known radio fortune teller Madame Ophelia gives the troubled wife hope. The stars promise that Luise will get rid of all her baggage at the destination of a cruise. It is as clear as day to Luise what, or rather who, this ballast is! But there also seems to be all kinds of hilarious potential for conflict in the marriages of her traveling companions. There is Elfriede, for example, a passionate bargain hunter who regularly drives her good-natured husband Otto mad with her thriftiness and elegant airs and graces. And the Schneider couple - he a passionate womanizer, she a "grey mouse" - also cause a lot of excitement on board. Of course, steward Lothar has his hands full and it's not just the extremely work-shy cleaner Erna Kowalsky who soon gets on his last nerve. In the port of Bratislava, it finally comes to a showdown when news spreads like wildfire on the ship: Man overboard! While each of the three wives assumes that it is her own husband, fate has a more or less pleasant surprise in store for all the passengers. Or as fortune teller Ophelia likes to say: The stars never lie... Ship ahoy and have fun on board the MS Bratislava!
