Time: in start groups, probably from 6:40 am (55 KM), from 9:30 am (42 KM) and from 9:00 am (30 KM). The start groups will be opened a few weeks before the event and can then be selected by you.

30 KM: Duisburg inner harbor, Johannes-Corputius-Platz, 47051 Duisburg

42 KM: Klönnewiese, Kruppstraße 30, 47055 Duisburg

55 KM: Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, Emscherstrasse 71, 47137 Duisburg

After your finish in the Landscape Park, shuttle buses will take you back to the city center and the stadium! The shuttle buses will only be used for the return journey.

About the event:

Huge industrial landscapes, old wastelands and industrial monuments. If you are as fascinated by forgotten places from another time as we are, come to Duisburg and we will show the world over 30, 42 or 55 kilometers that borders only exist in our heads.

We have taken your feedback from the 2024 season to heart - and that's why we have something very special this year: each of our three distances has its own starting point and an individual route. So you can hike in a relaxed manner and experience an unforgettable mammoth march where you can give it your all!

To celebrate your incredible achievement, all three routes have a common destination: the Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park. Here you will all be greeted at the finish line with great cheers and thunderous applause and can look forward to a big party with all the mammoths and delicious food trucks!

Once again this year, countless highlights await you on all routes:

55 KM: Experience the history of the Ruhr region up close from the Zollverein colliery to the Tetraeder, passing almost all the important industrial monuments in the west of the Ruhr region. This route starts at the Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park.

42 km: Enjoy an impressive program of contrasts: lots of nature, fantastic paths along the Ruhr to Mülheim, supplemented by highlights such as Broich Castle or the Aquarius Water Museum - without losing the unmistakable industrial charm. The starting point for this route is the Klönnewiese at Bertasee, directly behind the Wedau stadium of MSV Duisburg.

30 KM: Our completely new route combines the active steel industry with impressive industrial monuments. The start for this route is the Duisburg inner harbor.
