In November 2024, Malaka Hostel released their live album "Asphalt Odyssey", a wild and colorful cross-section from all eras of the band's history. When you hear their live debut, it quickly becomes clear what the name Malaka Hostel stands for: with unbridled joy of playing and a rousing live energy, they know how to playfully capture the hearts of concertgoers.

They sing in Spanish, German, Czech or English - music is their "world language". Folklore, whether from the Balkans or the Andes, finds its place - carried by grooving beats, while the brass section consisting of trumpets and harmonica bubbles away. Ska, polka, Balkan beats and rock riffs come together just as well as gipsy swing, folk or Greek rebetiko.

Malaka Hostel quickly developed from a regional insider tip to a band that has gained a reputation on tours and at festivals across Europe for captivating audiences with their wild coyote songs and energetic live presence The cheeky, likeable, unconventional band only know one destination: collective dance ecstasy! They played over 70 shows in 2019 alone. The Coyotes have already played at renowned festivals such as the Fusion Festival, Sunrise Reggae Festival, Lott Festival, Jazz Festival Saalfelden (A), Earth Garden Festival (Malta), Black Forest On Fire, 3000 Grad Festival, FoodForYourSenses (Lux), Goulash Disko (HRV), St. Gallen OpenAir (CH) and many more.
