Mads Riis Quartet met at the prestigious conservatory, Jazz Institute Berlin. Rooted in jazz, our music weaves a tapestry of powerful, evocative melodies, ambient soundscapes, and minimalist aesthetics. It is an exploration of identity and belonging. At its core, the music stems from a longing to find one's roots and a sense of grounding in a time marked by uncertainty.
