The theater performance Made in Germany tells the moving story of Ali Fathi. He is the survivor of a devastating attack on the anniversary of the Cultural Revolution in Iran and finds out years later that the hand grenade that changed his life was manufactured in Germany. By combining personal tragedy and political responsibility, the ensemble addresses the impact of German arms exports on people around the world. Accompanied by Ali Fathi from Hamburg, the play will be performed in Farsi and German with German/English subtitles.
Afterwards, the audience will be actively involved in discussing possible solutions together.
