Mackefisch create something extraordinary. And not just because they play what feels like 20 instruments at the same time with four arms and legs - from self-made suitcase drums, a tap shoe stepping on rattles, cork plates and horns to banjo, guitar and a keyboard that combines accomplished piano playing with crazy synth sounds. Nor is it because their two-part vocals switch confidently between ravishingly beautiful and breathtakingly fast-paced, or because they convey incomparably funny, poetic and merciless lyrics.

The truly unique thing about this award-winning mini-band is the feeling you leave with after the concert. And it's a damn good one: Mackefisch's "Komplizirkus" doesn't just make you forget all your worries. Lucie Mackert and Peter Fischer also give space to serious topics, despite the good humor and sophisticated rhythms. No, not a space - a circus ring! And heavy thoughts are already bouncing through the hoops to rousing music, juggling with good ideas and letting themselves be stroked. And you realize: after an evening with Mackefisch, the weight of the world is simply much lighter.
