LOVE LETTER (Hardcore / New England) GIVER (Hardcroe / Dresden) & Pluto The Racer (Post-Hardcore / Hannover)

New England has a long tradition of passionate hardcore music, and Love Letter, featuring members of Verse and Defeater, continue that tradition. The band was formed in 2017 when guitarist Jay Maas (Defeater) and vocalist Quinn Murphy (Verse) came together to develop their debut album, Everyone Wants Something Beautiful. Maas, who is also known as a producer for bands such as Bane and Counterparts, brought other talented musicians into the team. Their first single, "Misanthropic Holiday or Vacation", addresses the challenges of modern society and captivates with emotional and powerful music.

In their new album "The Future Holds Nothing But Confrontation", GIVER have further developed their hardcore sound by incorporating more brutal and atmospheric elements of metal and post-punk. Thematically, the album deals with class warfare, culture wars and the climate crisis, serving as a political manifesto. The band describes that the album was created at a time when fewer and fewer people have hope for the future. They emphasize that new social connections are needed to confront injustice, and that hope comes from constant struggle and confrontation with the world.

Pluto The Racer... are an up-and-coming young alternative emo-punk band from Hanover, who released their first demo tape at the beginning of 2023. The three talented musicians bring an explosive mix of melodic, no-frills punk rock to the stage with a distinctive voice that sticks in the ear canals and leaves an unforgettable impression.
