LOUIS PHILIPPSON WITH DEBUT ALBUM "LIVE ON TOUR" IN SPRING 2025

Louis Philippson will be performing "Live on Tour" in eleven German cities from April 2025. The debut album by the pianist, creator and presenter will be released in February. Tickets for the tour will be available from Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the exclusive presale on eventim.de and from Friday, November 22, 2024 at 12:00 noon at all known advance booking offices.

With his vlogs, humorous contributions and gripping piano interpretations, Louis Philippson is particularly popular with Generation Z for classical music and has already gained 750,000 followers. The musical talent of the 21-year-old from Mülheim an der Ruhr was discovered on YouTube at the age of seven by his future piano professor. He became a junior student at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf and has taken part in numerous national and international piano competitions to date. In addition to his music career, he studies international business and music and works as a presenter for Toggo and ZDF.

Louis Philippson's debut album, "Exposition", will be released on February 14, 2025, in which he combines his own compositions with new, colorful arrangements of titles from a wide variety of genres. He skillfully combines poetic piano versions of "OMG" by the K-pop band NewJeans with a dynamic arrangement of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto, creates elegiac piano versions of melodies from Mahler's Symphony of a Thousand or plays anime classics such as "A Town with an Ocean View" or "Lover's Oath" on the grand piano. From the end of November 2024, Louis Philippson can be seen live on the Night of the Proms tour, and from April 8, 2025 he will be on a solo tour with the new album.
