In "lost particles - das Darmstück", choreographers Kattú Mitxelena Newiger & Katze Greeven, together with rapper Finna, invite us on a journey through our digestive system. The stage space: An intestine. A wasteland. The microbiome in it is dying out, while our habitat is losing diversity. Species extinction around and within us. You are what you eat.
A scenario between humor and disgust is created, a stalactite cave of fear, sadness, anger, humor, lust, shame and pleasure. Small intestine, large intestine, intestinal villi and feces roll and unroll in a dialog between movement and chanting. The artists decompose choreographies, break up rhythms and narratives, transform the stage space to represent what does not want to be seen: a post-apocalyptic inner wasteland in which bowel cleansing fails as the last savior. How to live, how to dance, how to poop in a world where everything is falling apart? As a dramatization of decomposition, the transformation process in the intestine becomes a symbol of a world that has fallen apart at the seams.
