In Memoriam David Lynch: In memory of David Lynch, who died on January 15, 2025, the DFF Cinema is showing the complete works of the US cult director in cooperation with the arthouse cinemas.

Jazz saxophonist Fred Madison's marriage is on the rocks. When he is arrested after a party and accused of murdering his wife Renee, he ends up on death row. Plagued by severe headaches and visions of the Mystery Man, Fred transforms himself into car mechanic Pete Dayton. The guards, who find the innocent stranger in the cell, have to let Pete go. But it soon transpires that they are all lost, trapped in their own fate ...on the Lost Highway.Lost Highway unmistakably bears David Lynch's very own signature and is considered a precursor to the acclaimed Mulholland Drive (2001), which was released shortly afterwards. The typically mysterious Lynch sound was provided by his long-time artistic companion Angelo Badalamenti, who was no stranger to audiences at the time, having already contributed the unforgettable sounds to Lynch's cult series The Secret of Twin Peaks (1990-91), among others.(Source: distributor)
