If Los Bitchos' electrifying 2022 debut album, Let the Festivities Begin!, was the exuberant prelude to a wild night of partying, then Talkie Talkie is the Technicolor explosion on the dance floor. The band consists of lead guitarist Serra, who has both Australian and Turkish roots, Uruguayan synth and keytar player Agustina Ruiz, Swedish bassist Josefine Jonsson and British drummer Nic Crawshaw. They are all united by their commitment to fun and joie de vivre. They spread this infectious energy effortlessly around the world: since the band officially burst onto the scene in 2019 with two sold-out 7" singles, they have established themselves as one of London's most exciting bands.

Since then, they've found a home on renowned indie label City Slang, conquered stages around the world - from Glastonbury to Coachella, as well as supporting Pavement and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - and expressed the energy of their personalities and cultures through their experimental approach to rock'n'roll.

The London-based quartet's new album is bursting with charisma, sonic experimentation and a mischievous spirit. Named after a fictional club called Talkie Talkie, it's a nocturnal paradise of freedom and possibility - a place where partygoers can escape reality, whether dancing or dreaming, accompanied by invigorating soundscapes.
